Researching Charities gives in-depth information and evaluation of non-profit groups so that you can decide where to give your time, money and talent.  Articles are written by college students in my English class as their culminating research project.  Having done this project with students for several years, I have come to realize that it is very difficult to find information which allows donors and volunteers to accurately evaluate the charities they are interested in supporting.  Researching Charities includes:
  1. Reviews: To publish in-depth reviews by students to make their research available to other people who are interested in finding out whether to donate, volunteer or otherwise support that charity.
  2. Resources: To be a resource for clear information about how to evaluate a charity with links to sites that will help you to find out about a charity we have not yet reviewed.
  3. Teaching Instructions: Provide teaching lessons and information to help other instructors who might want to use this research project in their own class.
